On the positive side, this movie is really fun to watch and the last 20 minutes are really good including that awesome emotional scene with spiderman talking to sandman and hob goblin. Hob goblin turns from evil to good to evil to good all in the same movie as well (tho his last turn was epic), they also created a plothole where sandman killed uncle ben when he was no where to be seen in the first movie. Venom himself also doesn't show up till there is less than an hour left of the movie, he is basically the same size as spider-man but has a disoriented jaw. I get they were trying to create parallels between MJ and peter with glen and eddie but I didn't really see it. I don't like the person casted for Eddie Brock, he just doesn't fit. This being said, there are problems of course. So I grew up with this movie but I'm gonna try my best to not be biased here however it is really fun to watch. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also.himself.

But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman.

But more challenges arise for our young hero. Peter Parker has finally managed to piece together the once-broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship with Mary-Jane and his responsibility as Spider-Man.
